The amazing Malia Walsh (Pictured, upside down on a KEG trapeze.) asked me to come over and light her amazing show 90s Australian circus banger 'WERK IT'. As part for the Sydney Festival program and then on to @perthfringeworld
Malia gave me the chance to elevate the design of the show for Sydney, spending days watching tops of the pops videos and repeat viewings of Madonnas 1997 MTV performance of Vogue.
This was a treat to design and research, with heaps of popping colours and a lighting rig that fits the style.
I prevised the show at the studio in Edinburgh using Capture Visuliser, this made the long haul flight and following bump in stress free.
